SKIBIKE BARRIERE-FREE
Skibike – sport without limit – exclusive for every person with handicap.
SPORTS, FITNESS AND FUN
Skibiking is the perfect sport for training the whole body. Depending on your handicap, the skibob will be adapted to your personal needs.
Even people with incomplete paraplegia get muscle soreness in their legs after skibobbing and this builds up the muscles and activates the nerve synapses.
IT IS EASIER TO LEARN THAN YOU THINK
We’re teaching on three different skibob models: Standard, Quan and Mad Max.
SKIBOB STANDARD
The skibob lesson often starts with the Instuctor who rides behind the student. This instuctor rides with control ropes and the instructor handlebar. At the end of the skibob lessons the student should be able to ride the skibob by his own – without instructor and foot system (look at the pictures beneath).
Skibike “QUAN”
The skibike “QUAN” is a special skibike developed by us. This skibike allows people with complete spinal paralysis to ride a skibike after taking lessons.
The training method was developed by Mr. Stalmach and is going to be improved continuously. The skibob “QUAN” will be equipped as required with two different kind of foot systems. The foot systems allow the sliding of the feet in the direction of skiing.
The lift transport with all types of ski lifts is easily possible with the skibike “QUAN” after a lesson (look at the pictures beneath). More Information Skibob Quan
Snowbike Tandem “MAD MAX”
The Snowbike “MAD MAX” is a skibob for 2 persons. The rider is sitting behind and steers the skibob. The front passenger sits and supports the rider actively (look at the pictures beneath). More information -> Mad Max
