The company, Stalmach Group, was founded in 1992. The founding director, Mag. Jacek Stalmach, brought to end his sucsessful skibob-career 1996 after
18 World Cup seasons and 4 World Championship titles (in 1995 and 1996).

In the same year several Skibob Riders won World Championship titels by using Stalmach Ski Bob, leaving competitors in amazement.

In 1998, Mag. Stalmach was appointed National Coach for the Austrian National Skibob Team. He led this position very successfully until 2003. During this time he became 3 times the most sucsessful national couch in Austria. In 2000 he conquered with the Austrian National Team 12 World Championship Medals during the World Championships in St. Johann in Pongau, Austria. One year later in Bischofwiesen, Germany, further 17 medals were won.

The growing success in the following years at World Championships led up Stalmach brand to every Ski Bob National Team all over the world.

1999 followed the next big step with the development and production of Stalmach Q1 Carving Ski Bob Ski. This was the first Carving Ski Bob Ski in the history of this sport. Even in 2000 the young Tyroler, Harald Auer, won the World Championship Title and the European Cup at Bischofswiesen, Germany with this new Ski Bob Skis.

 

The Ski Bob Skis were further developed as well and in 2002 the new Ski Bob Ski Generation, Stalmach 3S entered the market. The construction with wood core, rubber mounted metal edges, perfectly fitted and race layer conquered the Ski Bob World.

For the winter season 2003/04, two new Ski Bob models have been prepared. First of all the World Cup Model has been developed with new High Grad Steel, in addition the latest frames, seats and shock absorbers and in wonderful colours. Secondly the new Snow Horse Model also makes use of High Grade Steel elements, a new seat and much, much more.

 

Mag. Stalmach won in Season 2003/2004 two important races in America and since that time he is couch for the American Skibob riders.

Many World Champonship Medals had been won, in every discipline (3 x gold, 3 x bronze, 3 x silver) and 21 other places below the first 10, with Stalmach Skibobs. The company Stalmach Group sponsors many skibob riders all around the world and so we take care, that everybody will know this sport.

For the season 2004 a new Skibob, called Colorado was created, completly with High Grad Steel and a sensational price. We also thought to the very small Skibob riders and developed the Small Kids Skibob. This very light, very small Skibob is for children from 2,5 to 8 years, it is very easy to ride and the footskies are able to use with normal shoes.

This year Adrian Kreiss won 4 gold medals in the school class at the World Championships. At the Austrian National Championships in Tyrol skiers using Stalmach Skibobs won 23 medals in all classes. Special congratulations to 19 year old Gerhard Hauer, who won the Austrian National Championship and his first World Cup race in Missen , Germany .
